Nose: dark chocolate, mushroom, herbaceous, hazelnut, fruit jam, cinnamon Notes: a nose of aged shiraz, still a relatively sweet nose with a bit of mushroom and herbaceous feel to it. Quite a fine old Australian thats enjoyable. Still quite young and could possibly be even better in a few years time. Drink: now - 2035 Rating: 91

I don’t think this wine has 5 more years in it; perhaps it’s a bottle , but the color is almost gone, cloudy, fruit and acidity still nicely there and overall very nice balance and long finish.

Deep purple color to rim with unappealing nose of currants, gooseberries, and smoked beets. Mouthfeel has a bitter, acidic edge, with spare fruit remaining. Minimal finish. Food aided the experience but I wish I'd located this hidden bottle ten years earlier. Drink now or forever hold your peace.
