  • Elegant in the nose, with mixed berries, various flower petals, and a hint of pine wood; the palate, balanced and smooth, with dark berries and cherries and some wood spices; medium+ long finish; overall, 90-91 points.

  • I had this wine several times while on vacation at a Mexican resort, where the pickings were rather limited. the wine was surprisingly good, considering the vintage and the producer, so I kept coming to it. All the bottles were consistent. The color was dark ruby with no cloudiness. The nose was pleasant, although a bit restrained. On the palate, primarily ripe dark fruits, with a silky and lush texture, good balance and a medium finish. Not a lot of complexity, but a very enjoyable Pommard. The wine should continue to be in a good place for a few more years.
