ワイン会 (ミエル、横浜市戸部): Nose: Minerally driven Chard with an elegant whiff of oak. Mouth: Insidiously light and elegant with pronounced minerality. Very well made wine that did well throughout the evening. Will not buy, but enjoyed. Still a baby.

This is a really interesting wine because it tastes nothing like Meursault to begin with. Pure, green apple fruit with this piercing minerality and no marks from oak whatsoever. Fresh and fairly lean this could almost be mistaken for a Muscadet. With air, this wine takes on weight and spreads out to show a bit more roundness and fatness and that grainy character one finds in Meursault and the wine reveals its true place of origin. This is my kind of wine, very little intervention it feels like.

An introduction to Domaine Laurent Boussey (Chez Kimelman): Took a while to get its legs but developed into a really nice wine. Don't recall details.

A year later and this wine is singing right now. Simply gorgeous on the palate and finish.

Crisp and delicious wine that really begins to evolve after 30 minutes in the glass. Drink this with a slight chill to really appreciate..
