  • Beautiful golden hue. Palate is rich, oily, touch of kerosene, still good acid balancing the strong floral elegance. Very good

  • Full and complex nose. Petrol, rubber and tropical pine-apple. Lime zest adds freshness and depth. Very, very typical.
Medium-fullish body with high acidity. Very good grip. Generous fruit. Yellow orchard fruit with tropical hints. Petrol, rubber and lime. Long finish.
Tasted blind, this was correctly identified as Grosset Polish Hill.

  • Had with Chinese whole snapper with ginger chilli and shallots. Great match. Great length and minerality. Acidity and structure. Still lemon and citrus there, some greeen fruits. Secondary of kero. Clare valley at its best.

  • Stelvin. Pop and pour.

Petrol, oyster shell, kaffir lime leaf, peas, and citrus pith on the nose. This has bright acidity coupled with tactile density that remains very fresh, laser sharp and clean. Bone dry with great cut and freshness on the palate. A wine much more about geologic matter and acid than fruit, with tarragon-herbal notes and citrus fruit that add to the dominant oyster shell and soil flavors. Serious and deep yet with beautiful lift. Many might call this austere; I call it delicious. A serious, stony, contemplative wine drinking peak with no sign of slowing soon.
