Medium ruby color, pretty nose of cherries and slight floral note. Light to medium structure that is ripe and balanced but perhaps lacks a bit of drive and attack. Quite ready to drink now and a beauty for its level.

Wine Cellar - France, Burgundy, 2006 (mostly) (Wine Cellar, Cape Town): (Tasted Blind): Mid-crimson colour with a light and delicate perfume that resembles boiled sweets or confectionery. A very pure wine that is compelling and shows elegance, vibrancy and a fresh, delicate poise. The tannins are supple and fruit, and the acid stays the course giving a much-appreciated lift to the riper fruit. Enjoyable even if not that complex. Old vines.
