From 375cc. Syrupy apricot/overripe nectarine bomb. Many years since I have opened a Kracher, and still sitting on a huge cache of these in the cellar. This one was shy on acid that made it extremely cloying and hard to drink. A party of 12 and still there was almost 1/2 of the bottle left. Two sips is plenty. One more btl of this particularly one left and we shall see if there is some bottle variation, but the designation of #11 is apt a la Spinal Tap; this is over the top sweet and too much of a good thing. I think I may have diabetes now.

Maple syrup-like in consistency. Wow, sweet sweet sweet. Tight and other than some botrytis spice, it’s a bit reticent on the plate, and Perhaps not as much acid as one would hope for. A teaspoon is all you need.
Edit: 2 weeks later in the fridge, the wine has uncoiled a bit and is a bit more giving of golden raisin, pineapple and candied citrus. Feels more balanced and less sugary.

Dried fruit. Pie spices. Incredible dark sweetness that’s well balanced.

Just incredible. Concentrated sweetness bolstered by acidity. Apricot, honeycomb. Tropical fruits. Baking spices. Almost syrup-like consistently. Wow.
