  • Absolutely at its best drinking window now, so drink 'em, if you got 'em. Plum, blackberry, cassis on the nose, with a heavy dose of minerality. Still very fruity, bit it has moved to the mid-palate and finish with age. Plum, blackberry, cassis, tobacco, bitter chocolate on the palate. Tannins have integrated to provide a silky smooth texture with medium acidity. Medium long finish. Very nicely aged cab sauv. Just missing some layered flavors and complexity to move it into the next tier, but very enjoyable. IMHO, this was the best vintage year for Conn Creek in recent memory.
