Consistent with last bottle. Great party wine as this is big and jammy with an abundance of sweet fruit but still identifiable as a Cabernet. Not overoaked, too, which is usually a concern for me at this price point.

Drank over two days. There's something about this wine to like and to dislike at every step of the way. The nose is not showing very much, but what is there is nice -- some typical Cabernet currant and wet cement aromas. On the palate, there is a big blast of some very pure fruit with strong currant and raspberry flavors, but it is a little overripe, sweet, and a bit simple. No obtrusive oak there as well, which I appreciate, but it lacks some balancing acidity. On the finish, there are some very nice sweet, mouth-coating, drying tannins, but there is also some heat from the alcohol. Overall, this is a real crowd-pleasing wine, what with the ripe fruit and all, but it is a bit simple as far as Napa cabs go. The price isn't bad, though, at around $20. However, there are better options for this style of wine at this price point.

Fruit forward, indeed! JAM is a great name for the berries and cherries in this fine and delightful offering. Excellent at $20 price point.

Great fruit foreward, but young wine. Black cherry and wild berries with a little chocolate.
