  Mostly light floral nose, aromas of berry jam including a nice touch of very ripe strawberry, a bit of bay leaf. The taste is rather still (because of low acidity I'm told), the tannins are coarse-grained and linger into a slightly tart-textured finish. There's also a fresh feeling, although not to the point of minty. Drinkable, but I think overall it lacks structure and food pairing potential. Bearing in mind I am not too fond of floral/minty reds, I was not very impressed for $14cdn. [2.75/5]
