Really enjoy this wine as a chilled aperitif, especially in the warm weather with a few ice cubes to chill it and keep the abv reasonable. Also works well in a Port & Tonic. It is a clear, pale amber in the glass, with honey and floral aromas. The palate shows a touch of sweetness, along with honey, lemon, a touch of orange and nicely balancing acidity. Recorking and holding in the fridge, can extend the bottle life to several weeks.

Deep gold in color. Apricot, baking spice, alcohol, nuttiness, and honey on the nose. Overripe pear, honey, and bitterness on the palate. Full but not syrupy body and medium acidity. Pear, marzipan, and ginger on a lingering finish.
