This is a disjointed mess, aspiring to be a good Pinot and failing. It has notes of alcohol, vanilla, some green vegetables, and tomato? It's still preferable to industrial characterless wine, but not by much. If I wanted to be generous I might say it's an ok mid-to-low-range Cali pinot that's simply past its prime.

Very pleasurable PN that's approachable from first pour. Good value at $24. Aroma is there, acidity, good fruit, longish finish. Earthy, medium body. Very easy drinking on a Tuesday night.

Brick red/brown. A sweetish nose of balsamic, which I associate with bottle bouquet. Palate has the same thing, along with some tart acids and the tiniest hint of fruit. Medium, warm finish. Very little pinot character overall. Perhaps this is closed down from travel shock - I just received it today after a five day trip across country? It might also just simple be past its prime. If I were to assign a numeric score it would be maybe 86, but I will refrain and check another bottle in a few months. A bit of a disappointment.

Deep garnet. Bouquet navel orange, rosemary, black licorice and eucalyptus. Lovely sweetness on the tongue; lagging bitterness: sublimely balanced.

No notes but consistent with previous bottle, if not a touch less impressive.
