Unlike any of the beauforts that've had in recent memory. This one was more linear & sharp. Not in a bad way. Just a different style. Full on citrus. Less mousse also. With air, more vinosity. Wish I had some liver mousse for this wine. Oh well, next time. From a 375ml.

Beautiful light-to-medium golden color. Apples, very subtle rock and earth, bread, and darker fruit supremely well-balanced. A champagne which would be tough to match in any fine dining establishment at 4-5 times the price. Nice.

(Frederikshøj) Never had a champagne before that reminded me of a floral nebbiolo, with savoury roses, very attractive, and perfect as aperitif.
