  - Garnet color with fast forming legs. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of alcohol, prune, black pepper, dusty and sherry with a medium/full body. Coarse texture with a long finish - I was amazed that a $15 bottle this old (18 years) was still nice, although clearly after its prime. I originally wanted to do a multi-year comparison of these wines and this bottle got misplaced. I found it again as I put all the data into Cellar Tracker.
