PnP. Cork fine - hardly wetted - stored since release at 58 degrees. Medium dark gold. Initially rather mute on the nose but with swirling deep orchard fruit notes begin to come out along with some marzipan and tropical notes. On the palate this is rich but has some refreshing intensity which prevents it from being flabby. This bottle is pretty good and older Kistlers are hit and miss; the good bottles seem to require more air to show the underlying material and are often better the second day - we shall see for this one. Falling apart - oxidized.

Pale golden yellow, lemon-lime, wet stone nose, well balanced concentrated fruit with some floral notes, and mineral background. Bright 45-60 second finish. .Quite good with broiled haddock. We previusly opened another bottle 3 days ago which was not drinkable, very funky. Bottle variation strikes again.
