This had a strong component that reminded me of chicken broth, though that is not to say that it lacked acid, so perhaps chicken broth with vinegar mixed in. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I had paired it with chicken salad. It would probably still make my stomach feel sour, though.
In its favor, I must say that after I shoved the cork back in it and stored it in the refrigerator for a week, it still tastes pretty much the same, though slightly more mellow.

On the nose there's a lot of apples, some peach and pear. Peas, potatos and asparagus. Grapefruit and other citrus. Huge mineral character. Becomes a little chablis-like with air. Dry and crispy but round. Medium bodied. Good fruit. Chalky minerals. Nutty notes in the lenghty finish.
Had this first with crème vichysoisse and then with roast beef with tuna sauce. Nice combinations. A truly lovely wine!
