We compared this to the Grand Gaillard of the same vintage, same grape The New Zealander had more bouquet and a stronger taste. Interesting though that all of us wound up choosing the French one. Make no mistake This is a good wine. Brash compared to the French one though.

color: pale straw-yellow
aroma: moderate, perhaps a bit past it's prime. Grass, cooked vegetables, perhaps a bit of some sort of tree fruit.
This wine is dry with balanced acidity. Length, about 30 seconds with enough fruit to balance the acid. Overall, pretty good.

A very crisp wine. Lots of grapefruit. This would be a good brunch or warm weather wine.

Tastes like a glass of grapefruit juice, in a good way. A perfect brunch wine.

Peachy aroma and flavor, a wisp of melon and a steely finish.
