Opaque, dark crimson color. Dusty black cherry, dried tobacco and cedar on the nose. Black cherry, black olive on the palate. Thins considerably mid-palate. No tannins to speak of. A little sour on the finish. Good QPR.

Chateau Bolaire Bordeaux Superiour 2008 raspberry tangerines on the nose. high viscosity like egg white. black cherry pomeganate and red fruit on the palate. medium+ acidity mouthwatering and vibrant. medium+ tannins various sizes from chunky to fine. light floral and perfume notes and Long dry licorice finish.
The wine is 7+ years old and will get better with time. This wine will be perfect when the tannins breakdown and round out. I am going to get a case and wait 1 years to drink each one.

This is great qpr. Red fruit and what I want to call wet stone on the nose. On the palate there is graphite, vegetable, and maybe a slight coffee. Tannins are fading but still present and the acid is good. This is a great mid week food wine with plenty of opportunity to make it to 2018. This is not an oak bomb or an afwe but solid qpr Bordeaux.

At 35% petit verdot, nose and palate predominantly of graphite. Medium body and decently concentrated. Medium acidity and integrated tannins on the finish. As others have mentioned, this is a fairly one-dimensional wine predominated by PV.

Black olive, some sour fruit, fairly viscous. Enjoyable and inexpensive but not remarkable.
