Brown in color. Still a bit sour for mé. But begins to open up after 2hours. Can begin to taste it is an old wine now, drink now. Not so much taste, and alchohol is present. Do not buy again, not enough value for money.

In Search of Wedding Wines (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): This is so 2007 Southern Rhone. If you're not a fan, move along. But if you like some of them, try this. Big-time aromas of plum, fig, caramelized sugar and lavender. The palate is full of ripe, almost reduced fruit, like plums and cherries cooked down with caramelized sugar. Very generous and rich, and a bit alcoholic, this is a wine to drink over the next few years on cold nights by the campfire. Massive stuff, but I can't help but like it.

A bit sour in the taste. Small bouquet of liquorice hidden there. Not the best Cairanne I have tasted. Give it some air before drinking.
