Mild nose of smoke and sweet berry. Deep cinnamon red color. Smooth, velvety feel and flavors of strawberry, currant, peach. Consistent finish and drinking very nicely on its own without food. If it were more complex, it might score higher but I probably wouldn't like it as much!

Sam's Pinot Noir tasting. As a representative from the Cote d'Oregon, this wine did the Willamette well and for the price was one of the best buys of the night. Abundant cherry flavours, ripeness and hot - a consequence of the hot vintage - but a creditable wine.

Good on its own but a little fizzy taste when drank with compote like sauces, dates, figs... weird.
