  Beautiful Merlot, certainly one of the better ones I have had. Somewhat spicy, with an earthy aftertaste and a rich, complex finish. I am quite frankly pleasantly surprised that Virginia can come up with something like this. According to the winery, you can lay this down for 5 years at most, but 3 years is optimal.
