  • Colour: light honey
Nose: butter, some hints of nuts, white fruits
Tasting: the buttery nose is confirmed on the tongues, nice balanced acidity, quickly yielding to the white peach and white flowers

  • Just moving beyond the fruity primary, yet still v open. Expansive and pure aromatics of hazelnut and clear honey. Good breadth and fair length. Spring-water acidity eases through – so integrated. A new sheet of silk; if still with a little ‘give’ underneath. Complementary weight. Minor minerality emerging. Fruit is validly subsidiary in role and delivery, and is lemon and lime in equal measure, plus a hint of pineapple. We were with guests, and/so, along with the easy class of this wine, the bottle emptied especially quickly. A 90 to 91, 90pt impression. I may be under-rating – how dare the guests drink the proffered wine?!!
