Not quite as good as my last bottle back in March. May be a bit past its prime now. Still has the pretty Rhone nose full of floral and forest scents along with a touch of vanilla. Plenty of black cherry flavor, but not quite as full-bodied and lively as I remember. Nicely balanced and with good length, this is still very, very good - just not the exceptional wine it was last time. Will be drinking the last few of mine soon. 50+5+12+15+7=89

Had with a great friend for dinner. What a difference two years made on this wine. I liked it two years ago, but there has been a wonderful balancing act that has taken place, driving red fruits forward and developing a wonderful firm tannin balance, with an overlapping earthy quality. I love 07 CDR and I have big "hopes" for 2010.

Old world Gigondas, full of finesse, fruit may be starting to fade but plenty still there now.
