Pale yellow color. Sweet, concentrated and expressive nose with rich aromas of lemon marmalade, some peach, a little bit of honey, light petrol tones and a hint of meringue. The wine is lively, concentrated and somewhat oily on the palate with very medium body and ripe and technically dry, yet virtually sweet-toned - almost medium-dry - flavors of lemon marmalade, some petrol, a little bit of peachy stone fruits, a hint of honey and a touch of apple purée. The wine is medium-to-moderately high in acidity. The finish is dry, complex and fresh with leaner flavors of key lime, honey, some petrolly tones, a little bit of cantaloupe and a hint of stony mineral bitterness.
A surprisingly rich, concentrated and acidity-wise rather modest Riesling from 2008 that shows remarkable ripeness and concentration for the vintage. In its own way this wine is pretty unctuous and hedonistic, yet it doesn't come across as particularly big or heavy. Although not a delicate wine, this is nevertheless very lovely, easily among the best Clemens Busch wines I've had.

UWS 2016 End of year dinner (@ CdW and KvdK): Beautiful and opulent bouquet. Apples, minerals, some nutty impressions. Minerals. Tasty and a great length. Powerful wine. Ready now and the next few years.

Great stuff, such a balanced wine with great length. Some 'firne' tones in it now as well adding extra complexity to this wine. If I could get my hands on a couple of more bottles I would not hesitate for a second.

Very nice. Gold color. Some rubber, and exotic fruit on the nose. A bit honeyed on the palate, with also some pineapple.

No formal notes. Lots of apple on palate and not much more. Did not blow me away.
