Pencil lead, black cherry, a tinge of black currant, some buttercream frosting at the tip and a dose of shale and slate. All in all a remarkable effort for a winery in Maryland. Good acidity amd begging for a nice burger. I am told this comes from, believe it or not, 30+ year old Cabernet Sauvignon wines. A solid 85-86pts.
