  pineapple and some lemon aromas with mineral and hay. Nice tropical fruit that is not very powerful yet lasts pleasantly. Awesome Italian white.

  Floral, pineapple/chamomile, melon and apple nose. Very fruity with a dried hay quality. Bright and medium-light in body with sweet fruit at mid (lots of zippy pineapple and lime) with perhaps some other tropical fruits leaning toward mango at mid. The finish is sweet, long and broad. I didnt' expect to like this so much, especially since it has a strange combination of tropical fruit and old-world, Italian oxidation notes (like leather and hay). In the end, it is long and beautifully balanced with a little heat on the finish. And I am really quite impressed this has held up so well with time in bottle.
