Barnyard/earth (the good, Bordeaux kind) on the nose right after open. Full-bodied with complex earth flavors and some dark fruits. Finish is too short. The problem with this wine is that the earthy aromas started to fade rather quickly, but not enough fruit emerged to replace them. Furthermore, after placing in fridge for a few hours (using Vacuvin), the wine just became too boring.

@restaurant 28+ Heavy and clumsy with burnt fruit and total lack of charm. Spontaneous comments: "burnt plastic", "old socks". Avoid!

In all fairness, anything whose nose says "public restroom" is bound to taste much better than it smells.
