  • Bought at a discount price of 25.50 € instead of the 36.90 € this sold originally at. Popped straight out of the fridge, the nose offers strawberry, a hint of lemon and some toast. Sharp acidity, medium bodied with a quickly disappearing mousse. The simple mouthfeel is pretty much dominated by red berries and the finish is notably short. Unfortunately, it just goes downhill from here once the wine gets warmer in glass. The fruit starts changing to overly sweet and fake-tasting, and there's some heat in the finish. Weirdly at the same time the nose gets a stronger toasty note and also a creamy element, which is nice. Overall, a very mediocre rosé sparkler and just terrible for a Champagne that sold for 37 € originally. Mehhhhh
