  Gorgeous Grenache in early maturity. Essence of the varietal with wild strawberry, fresh earth, wild thyme, amd jammy notes ( as befits the vintage). The wine wears its 15.5% alcohol well, but this is clearly a massive, incredibly ripe wine that also shows impressive structure amd complexity. Roasted notes, including roast peanut notes. This is a beautiful, , mature example of Grenache that is in a particularly nice place at the moment.

  I really liked this wine. It is in a really good spot and I suspect it has a few years left. It is a bit hot but has some sophistication to offset the power. The blackberry and cassis with a touch of rasberry is alluring and fun.

  Fairly consistent over three nights. Turning orange-brown around the edges, this showed muted raspberry, but was too rough and hot for my tastes, and not particularly complex. Another 2007 from that initially overrated vintage...
