Slow-ox'd for an hour. Mulberry, blackberry, cigar box, and dust. Mature fruit flavors but still showing fine-grained tannins. My last bottle of a case but still showing plenty of life.

Wonderful red fruits, smooth (almost silky), hints of spice and cassis. A very modest amount of sweet Oak. The wine might be a tad past its best, but this particular bottle would have shown very well for at least a couple more years.

People at the table called this very Bordeaux like. I thought it was ok, nothing memorable. Has a bit of a creamy/oaky/dill element to the palate, along with black fruit. Rothmann's with Vinotas, the Wilfords and Roy H.

Similar to prior notes, which is remarkable given its age. Fading slowly now. Drink up.

Absolutely fantastic nose but the taste is old and tired.
