Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • Pretty nice stuff for what it is and I think this was crafted as a more affordable Cali chardonnay stand-in. Lemon fruit on the nose and attack with a creamy maloesque palate with peach sensations and apple flavors. There were some hazel nuts in there as well especially on the vanilla led finish. This wine could best be described by Greenblanket's favorite phrase of the week; "generously oaked". And that's too bad because there's some quality fruit here and even a nice bit of balancing acidity. Very good.

  • Another great surprise from the depths of the Greenblanket cellar this had lovely sweet lemon and ripe stone fruits on a creamy luscious palate. The rich creamy elements are well balanced by some crisp acidity and mineral notes. Quite good.
