  • Clear ruby in the glass. Good nose of dry leather, light soil, and drying red berry fruit. A little tired at first with more tertiary and maple notes, but livened up over time in the glass and offered a surprising degree of sweet fruit and high acidity. Juicy and very flavourful, still round. Somm tried to warn this would be past its peak but this bottle provided a couple great glasses of wine. Drink now for a mature Beaune.
