Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Undeniably Austrian, this possesses a very lively, very fresh personality. There is a bit of acidic nervousness upfront that moderates by the second glass. Aromas of citric zest, minerals, stone fruit, some pith and clean white floral. The palate is more dry than off-dry, with accents of lemon-lime soda, nectarine and smoky earth. Certainly on the lighter side of medium-bodied. Clean finish, bright fruit. Innere Bergen, or Inner Mountains, is a delicious, early drinking food wine with 12,5% abv, approx $22. 91, recommended.

update: night 3. WOW! This is absolutely on point, it's filled out, extended the finish and the nose is outstanding. Serious juice here, folks. Bravo Phillip!
