Leaving just one note for two bottles of this we enjoyed over the span of a couple months (they felt about the same to me.) This was delicious- kind of a very basic Champagne, but with the caveat that it's sometimes available for VERY good prices (we literally got this for less than $35), which makes it an easy recommendation. It may be straightforward, yet it feels like "real deal" champagne with a bunch of creamy fuji apple, rich lemon curd, and intense energy. Maybe there's a touch of vanilla deep down- it's not especially "toasty", but thankfully it's not overly oxidative either, which I'm sensitive too and don't enjoy as much. I think for the sub-$50 Champagne category I very slightly preferred my experience with Moutard Brut Grande Cuvee, but this was very close behind.

I’m normally not one to harp on dosage, but this is a Champagne that it’s noticeably “higher”. I actually would’ve thought by taste it was in the 8-9g/l range.
Fairly basic, apple, pear on the nose and very slight buttered bread note. Ripe lemon and tart green apple on the palate.
Thankfully this bottle was given to my girlfriend over the holidays by someone at work. Would I drink it again? Sure, if I wasn’t paying for it. It’s not that bad, but as we all well know in this thread, there’s a lot of better Champagne out there.
Edit: thinking a bit more as I finish this, maybe it just needs some more time post disgorgement.

Family Holidays; 7/28/2023-9/10/2023 (Alicante - España): By the glass. Blend of a majority Meunier (70%) and with a rest of Chardonnay. Very fruity on the nose of both black and white fruit. Don’t expect complexity here. On the palate it’s a fresh bottle with no balance. No expression of terroir neither depth. In short, a champagne, at best, as starter.
Por copas. Ensamblaje de una mayoritaria Meunier (70%) y con un resto de Chardonnay. Muy afrutado en nariz tanto de fruta negra como blanca. No esperes complejidad aquí. Al paladar es una botella fresca sin equilibrio. Sin expresión de terruño ni profundidad alguna. En definitiva, un champán, como mucho, para el aperitivo.

Crisp, fresh, and delicious on the palate with plenty of lime, green apple and grapefruit notes amidst hints of creaminess to the texture. Bits of brioche, tart white fruit, and ginger on the finish. A hit with Thai food from The Yard Food Park in Salem, OR. Half bottle.
