Drinks like a wine made in a very expensive winery. I think I'm a bit hard-pressed to think of any other bottle of Burgundy that I've had in a while that tastes, well, corporate. Really lovely fruit here, with the bright 2008 character shining through, but enough weight so it's not like most 2008s which feel like they're thinning out. The weight feels like it's at least partially driven by the oak here. More red-fruited than black with the oak tannins fortunately not too obtrusive. A well-made wine, no doubt, but not entirely to my taste.

Red fruits nuances , particularly cherry. Leather and earth
Touch herbal tone . Fragrant
Long . Firm tannings . Light to medium bodied .
Such a delight to drink
