A dark violet color with a fair amount of extraction. Slate, black cherry, and currant aromas with traces of spice and cedar. Black fruit- lively and sharp with a bit of dusty tannins and traces of spice on the finish. Also a defined minerality throughout that isn't fully melded within the wine. A little more angular than it is silky and luxurious. Good with pork roast, but lacked definition to sit and savor on its own. I liked this better at the winery than I did when I brought it home.

An outstanding fruit forward Pinot. Cherry and currant flavors dominate. Paired wonderfully with alaskan salmon grilled on cedar planks.
