This was a real surprise for its continued class, substance and top notch quality for its price point. Delicious! The match for many a $100+ bottle of white burgundy!

Pleasant and clear green chardonnay fruitiness, I can't detect much or any oak influence here. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Not very complex but tasty and balanced, with a respectable acid structure.

Pale yellow; expressive, slightly tropical nose. Concentrated, ripe fruit with a nicely harmonised cutting edge of acidity. Very good. Estimated maturity: 2010-2014.

This bottle continues the "tart" theme, with a weaker finish than preferred as well. I remember Rully with more fondness than my recent experiences justify, I'm afraid. Pleasant chardonnay nose, crisp fruit, but zero mellowing oak influences and excessive brightness for my tastes.

Drinking a bit better with more balance this evening. Decent finish and stacked up fairly well against a D. Drouhin 08 Arthur from the Willamette Valley.
