My first post: I just started using cellar tracker (a great program). as I finished inputting my 392 bottles I asked the question, what's past it's prime, CT brought up this wine. I must say that I bought this wine on one of my first wine trips to napa. I bought a case, and have enjoyed it over the last years. , The truth is I didn't even know I had it until I inventoried my mines to put them in CT.
Anyway, I enjoyed the wine very much, I'm a big bold cab guy. It was very good. I did notice a hint that it is getting to the end. I enjoyed it anyway.

Same complaint I have with every single wine from St. Francis - the synthetic cork does not hold with any time in the cellar. The color was off and the flavor diminished by the taste of plastic. Unfortunate, because the wine still had backbone. Wish I could have tasted it with a real cork or even a Stevlin closure.

very average wine. Color not quite right, taste seemed muted with no real outstanding flavors.

Ok, not great, fruit was a bit lacking, followed some really good wines though.
