  Needed time to open up and reveal aromas of violets, chocolate and mint. Not very expresive but decent. Quite full bodied with good structure though tannins have mellowed since four years ago. Still youthfull. On the palate it has a sour finish. Last time I had this wine it seemed to me to have more potential. Not bad though.

  Deep purple, blue hues visible. Austere. Fruit and minerality. Full body with good struture and acidity. Not heavy but it is concentrated, still tannic with good chewey tannins. Needs time. Also smoked aromas, ink and tobacco. A very interesting polished wine with good potential. Only 300 bottles exist(-ed). Experimental bottling from Alpha Estate. Tannat was used for their red blend and here they bottled presumably one cask the Tannat unblended. Interesting future, glad that I have one more bottle. The one tasted was offered by my friend Eleftheria.
