  • 醒酒四个小时,期间做了一次换瓶,淡宝石红色,闻香有肉鲜,一些血腥味,灌木丛,覆盆子,蔓越莓一类红果香气,辛香料和木质香气,入口高酸,单宁细沙颗粒,酒液咸,矿物感清晰,中等酒体,展现出不错的线条感,香料和红果香气为主,口感细腻,风格传统,余味是覆盆子和木质香气,这段时间酒体和结构感觉还是比预想的薄了点,希望通过醒酒能获得更好的表现。继续醒酒两个小时,状态明显更加开放,闻起来有草莓,蓝莓和香水的质感,香草奶油,融合香料,还有木质香气,入口酸度高,单宁细腻如粉,咸口中带着微甜的回甘,香料,木质和成熟的果味,余味是高级的木质香调。口中的集中度比之前有了明显提升,酒体更加扎实,整体感更强,展现出一个超一级园该有的水准。

  • Aired out in glass for 20 min. Medium, borderline dark ruby core with garnet rim. Notes of ripe black cherry, black plum, strawberry, black pepper, tobacco, dried meat, and forest floor. Medium+ acidity gives this energy. Velvety and soft mouthfeel. Fully mature but still showing strong primary. This is a brooding and muscular CSJ but not to the point of lacking grace.

    Can probably drink at this level for at least 5+ years or so.

  • Richard's Jadotfest (The Medlar, Chelsea): Very ripe, sweet red fruit, soft tannins but lacks life on nose and freshness on palate, medium length finish.

  • 2022 Jadotfest (Medlar, Chelsea): A musky nose, with forest rather than red fruit. More well-muscled on the palate than tonight's other reds - funny, that - but not quite jammy. Rich finish. Enjoyable, without the vivacious minerality of the 1999 Corton and 2002 CSJ.
