  • At a private dinner, Brisbane. This wine opened with a pale crimson red colour and a fine scented nose of dark raspberries, red cherries and wild strawberries. The palate is light to moderately weighted with nice notes of red fruits and spice balanced by fine minerality and acidity. This is very much on the elegant side of Vosne expression yet nicely balanced and flavoursome.

  • So much better than the bottle I had a few years ago. Lovely and bright on the nose, which is complex with red fruit and savory earth, some floral and spice notes too. The palate has filled out since I last had this, and is now showing power and also elegance. The flavors are complex and include a spectrum of fruit and savory, and an undertone of minerality. The acidity is not shy, especially on the finish, but this wine is not at all unbalanced. It probably will benefit from more cellar time so that the palate resolves and offers better articulation and detail.

  • Surprisingly good (don't know their wines from that era). Nice definition, charming Vosne fruit.

  • PnP. Ready to serve other 30 min in the air but it remains quite thin, and high acidity. Going down after 1.5 hours.
