  Much more open than my previous bottle - tea leaf, cherry, black fruit, mint.....this is slipping into its drinking window but a few more years wouldn't hurt!! Still quite a big boned wine....

For some reason we seem to think differently about SA reds. This just needs another 5 years to let the fruit ease off a touch. There is a peppery, crunchy finish that becomes more pronounced as the wine breathes. Good, but has the guts to improve with age.
