I prefer these with some age on them, they tend to be somewhat disjointed early. It smoothed out nicely however, lemon and almonds with a nice acidity. Some mild oaky notes to give it a nice buttery mouthfeel without being to viscous. Nice wine, but not as nice as a couple from earlier years. Still a very interesting Chard.

quite possibly the most interesting US chard I have ever had. Murky cloudy lemony color. Clearly unfiltered. This doesn't taste like what I would usually expect from a chardonnay. Lots of almonds on the nose. Bright acidity, lemon and wood dominate on the palate, but this is not the buttery oak you typically find in CA chards - this is just plain freshly chopped wood. Medium + finish. Very food friendly. Kept going back for more and more... Excellent.

Deeper green-gold color. Lemon chiffon/ lemon zest/ dried flower nose. Delicious lemon/ lemon meringue/ almond on the palate. Excellent.
