Lunghissimo.

  • Basically got this at a giveaway, thrown into a case by a local shop. Color is a little advanced with some bricking throughout. For about ten minutes this seemed like it might impress. No mistaking the vineyard from the opening perfume and palate. Ten minutes is all you get. From there, it becomes progressively shrill and thin. Basically nice Borgogne made from Chambertin grapes. But that's what I'd expect from a relatively weak producer in an off vintage.
