  • Cork was dry and crumbly at the top, still wet at the bottom. Seemed to have stayed sealed though. Typical Latour stewed fruit nose and flavors. A bit thin for a GC. A hint of Vosne spice. Not showing very much complexity. A bit sweet almost like grape juice. But the color is still a deep purple with no hint of bricking. This seems like a perfectly preserved poor vintage.

  • Top shoulder. Double decant. Soft nose with warm red fruit, violets and spice. Palate has acidity and integrated tannins with medium weight. Finish is smooth and lingering with some acidic tartness and stem.
