A little different, and interesting enough to buy again and try a year from now. The nose is cherry/bright berry fruit with some vague mint or eucalyptis notes. The palate is a little frizante initially and even after 30 mins. Nice amount of acid/light tannin and a hint of sweet fruit and similar notes on nose. Also some blackberry casis in there. The finish is medium length and again has ongoing profile as experienced up front. Don't appreciate the 15% etoh here, which is nice. I am a little turned off by the "off dry" qualities of the berry fruit here in retrospect.

Sunday roast with Paddy (Our house in South Melbourne.): A very elegant GSM (GMS?), with a sweet and lifted raspberry nose with hints of dark cherry and fresh red forest fruits. The palette is rich and powerful and the acidity matches well with the fruit. There is a bit of alcohol heat in the background, and the finish is quite delicate.

Nice grenachey candied fruit. But a bit cloying, no thats the wrong word, a little bit bitter confectionary to me. I can't say that I enjoy that element of it although its well put together. Maybe just a touch hot.
