  • Drank over two days. A bit of brett on the nose on the first day which mostly dissipated after one day. Rather closed, with a bit of lees and black pepper.
On the palate it is concentrated and sweet, bordering with cloying - ripe blackberries ending with a licorice nuance.

  • Dark blood red color. Nose dominated by blackcurrant, followed by black fruits and hints of spice. Big nose creates expectations of a big wine, but the wine is pretty much mid-bodied. After initial sweet red berries, dark and spicy fruits, liquorice and black pepper take over the palate. Quite short and forgettable finish. Nice acidity and ok tannins give the wine nice structure. Overall quite honest and simple wine that is from the better end of the average Languedoc red wine spectrum. For this kind of everyday red, OK QPR at 11,08€.

  • One of the few Languedocs available in Alko, been meaning to try it out for a while. Decanted for about 30 min. Quite a dark purple red. On the nose black fruits and a bit of a citrusy side note, somewhat generic. On the palate some tannins, lots of black fruits, but not sweet. Quite an ok wine, but given that I can get absolutely superb wines from the Carcassonne region for the same price (€12), I don't think I'll be buying another bottle of this. 50+4+9+14+7=84
