Dark purple with no signs of bricking. Rich barnyard Bordeaux style nose with some dark fruit coming in. Still tannic with a huge chewy mouth feel which feels much younger than it's age. Wonderful classic Cali cab at it's best...Dark cherries, black berries, leather, vanilla...and a long finish. Really enjoyable.

I rated 92, G rated 94 so split the difference. Excellent depth of fruit w/o being overdone/overextracted. More depth than I generally describe with an "elegent" adjective, but this is elegant nevertheless. Carves out the middle turf between traditional Cab and Cali Cult. A style that suits my tastes. Good structure may bode well for some future evolution, but its drinking very well today.

Had this at a tasting and was very impressed. Not a producer that I was familiar with. The excellent fruit, strong but smooth tannins and 30 second finish proved to me that this was an excellent Sonoma Cab. Good enough to purchase 6 bottles at the Tasting.

(Blue Rock Cabernet Sauvignon) Great mulberry, caramel nose; solid, velvety, cassis, red fruit, spicy palate; medium finish (includes a small amount of Malbec)

Slight notes of banana and tar on the palate. Pleasant. Indeed quite good. Seems to have lost a step compared to prior bottles.
