(MERLOT Sant Elena) 2004 Brunello Dear Friends, Below are two very fine examples (in magnum) of 2004 Brunello. Both should age for years and (compared to something like 2005 Bordeaux) are still relatively affordable for large format of this ilk. For those that had the opportunity to taste these last month (at the various Brunello events), most would argue they were among the finest wines of the vintage. Magnums of each are quite rare and less than 50 of each are being exported (as opposed to hundreds if not thousands of something like a top 2005 Left Bank property). Both are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and should certainly increase in value as the years go by. 2004 Canalicchio di Sopra Brunello di Montalcino 1.5lt 2004 Castello di Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino 1.5lt Both arrive with impeccable provenance this winter. Both will ship during the first available shipping window this spring. Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Italy6410 Italy6420
