Popped and poured. Dark, earthy, peppered beef, savory with mineral tones. Very much old world. Drinks with a lightness but finished with a heavyness from the big chewy tannins. Plenty of acidity that balances out the wine nicely. It's safe to say i haven't had a wine quite like this. I suspect those into Cahors should seek this out, Argentina fans should stay away. Good value and the different experience is well worth the $18 price tag.
