  One of the best Burgundies I have had. Clean and clear, precise, despite the age. Still a youthful nose of crisp red fruit with touches of sous boos but little old wine dead leaf. Which is to say more secondary than tertiary. A good sense of depth. If not profound, then at least very, very good and well balanced.
